Educational Qualification:
(i) Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
(ii) Minimum educational qualification is Class VIII passed.
(iii) Candidates must possess a valid LMV Driving License.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of Assam rules.
Citizenship:
(i) Candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined under Articles 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India.
(ii) Applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of:
1. Driving Skill Test
Total Marks: 40
Candidates must secure at least 30 marks out of 40 to qualify.
2. Personal Interview
Total Marks: 60
The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in the Driving Skill Test and Personal Interview.
Required Documents:
Applicants must submit self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application form:
• Educational certificates
• Age proof certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Employment Exchange Registration Card
• Valid LMV Driving License
• Experience certificate (if any)
• Two passport-size photographs
Candidates must also provide:
• Mobile number (preferably WhatsApp number)
• Valid Email ID
Important Terms & Conditions:
(i) The post is purely temporary and contractual in nature.
(ii) The contract may be extended depending on requirement and satisfactory performance.
(iii) Candidates must produce original documents during the skill test and interview.
(iv) Incomplete or unsigned applications will be rejected.
(v) No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the test/interview.
(vi) Canvassing directly or indirectly will lead to disqualification.
(vii) Selected candidates must submit a declaration stating that neither they nor their family members are beneficiaries of the Orunodoi Scheme or have voluntarily opted out.
