The District Legal Services Authority has released an official notification for a Walk-in-Interview for the recruitment of Driver (Contractual) post under the establishment of the District Legal Services Authority, Sivasagar. Interested and eligible candidates may attend the skill test and interview on the scheduled date.
Name of Post: Driver (Contractual)

Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
(i) Applicant must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India.
(ii) Candidate age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2026.
Upper age relaxation:
(i) 5 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates
(ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
Educational Qualification:
(i) Class VIII Passed.
(ii) Preference will be given to candidates having professional skills related to the requirement of the establishment.
(iii) Candidate must possess a valid Professional Driving Licence.
Documents Required:
Candidates must bring the following documents at the time of interview:
• Filled-up Assam Gazette (Part-IX) Standard Application Form
• Self-attested photocopies of:
Age certificate,
Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets,
Valid Professional Driving Licence
• Two recent passport-sized photographs
• Original documents for verification
Selection Process:
The selection process will include:
1. Driving/Skill Test
2. Viva-Voce/Interview
Important Instructions:
(i) Candidates must report at the venue by 8:00 A.M.
(ii) Candidates reporting beyond 9:00 A.M. will not be entertained.
(iii) No TA/DA will be admissible.
(iv) The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel, alter, or modify the advertisement without prior notice.
