Oil India Limited (OIL), has released a recruitment notification for engagement of personnel on a purely contractual basis. The recruitment is being conducted for immediate engagement at the Field Headquarters, Duliajan.
As per the official advertisement, Oil India Limited is inviting eligible candidates who are domiciled in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh for the contractual posts of Contractual Electrician and Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical). Educational Qualification for Contractual Electrician:
Candidates applying for the Contractual Electrician post must have:
1. Passed Class 10th from a Government-recognized Education Board.
2. Possess a Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade, which should be a 2-year course issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
3. Possess a valid Electrical Workman's Permit (Part I & II) issued by the Government Electrical Licensing Board.
4. Have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification electrical jobs-related work experience in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, Public Limited or Private Organizations.
Educational Qualification for Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical):
Candidates applying for the Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical) post must have:
1. Passed a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Government-recognized Board or University.
2. Possess a valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (Part I, II, III & IV) issued by the Government Electrical Licensing Board.
3. Have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification electrical jobs-related work experience in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, Public Limited or Private Organizations.
Age Limit:
The prescribed age limit for both contractual positions is:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 35 years
The age is to be considered as per the eligibility conditions mentioned in the advertisement and on the date of registration for the Walk-in Personal Assessment.
For proof of date of birth, Oil India Limited will accept the Class 10th Admit Card, Pass Certificate or Marksheet issued by the concerned Government-recognized Education Board. The notification specifically states that no other document will be accepted as valid proof of date of birth.
Oil India Limited Salary:
(i) Contractual Electrician Salary: ₹21,450 per month
(ii) Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical) Salary: ₹24,960 per month
Duration of Contract:
The engagement is purely contractual and temporary.
The maximum contractual engagement period is one year. The initial contractual period will be six months, which may be extended for another six months depending on departmental requirements, performance and conduct of the incumbent, medical fitness and other applicable conditions.

3. Valid photo identity proof and valid address proof issued by a competent Government authority.

6. Educational qualification documents, including all semester/year and final marksheets and pass certificates.
7. Relevant experience certificates.
8. Valid caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates, wherever applicable.

10. Valid Income and Asset Certificate for EWS candidates, wherever applicable.
11. Valid disability certificate, wherever applicable.
12. Valid discharge book/service and release certificate for Ex-Servicemen, wherever applicable.
13. Valid Electrical Workman's Permit or Electrical Supervisor's Certificate of Competency issued by the Electrical Licensing Board, Government of Assam/Arunachal Pradesh, as applicable.
14. Valid No Objection Certificate signed by the concerned authority if employed in Government service or PSU/autonomous bodies.
15. EPF Member Pass Book, if available.
16. Aadhaar Card.
17. PAN Card.
18. Bank Pass Book.
