There are three different categories of posts under this recruitment:
1. Gender Specialist – 2 Posts
2. District Mission Coordinator – 3 Posts

1. Gender Specialist
Number of Vacancies: 2
Unit: State Hub for Empowerment of Women, Assam
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a Postgraduate qualification, preferably in Social Work or other social disciplines.
Experience: Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working with Government or Non-Government organizations in gender-focused themes.
Salary: Rs. 44,500/- per month (fixed remuneration)
2. District Mission Coordinator
Number of Vacancies: 3
Districts: Kamrup, Sonitpur and Darrang
Unit: District Hub for Empowerment of Women
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should be graduates, preferably in any of the following disciplines:
• Social Sciences
• Life Sciences
• Nutrition
• Medicine
• Health Management
• Social Work
• Rural Management
Experience: Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience working with Government/Non-Government organizations in a related domain.
Salary: Rs. 35,500/- per month (fixed remuneration)
The three District Mission Coordinator vacancies are specifically allocated to the District Hubs for Empowerment of Women in Kamrup, Sonitpur and Darrang.
3. Specialist in Financial Literacy and DPC PMMVY
Number of Vacancies: 3
Districts: Hailakandi, Lakhimpur and Tamulpur
Unit: District Hub for Empowerment of Women
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a Graduate degree in Economics, Banking or other similar disciplines.
Preference: Postgraduate candidates will be preferred.
Experience: Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working with Government/Non-Government organizations in financial literacy or financial inclusion-focused themes.
Salary: Rs. 35,500/- per month (fixed remuneration)
These vacancies are available in the District Hubs for Empowerment of Women in Hailakandi, Lakhimpur and Tamulpur.

Kamrup: District Mission Coordinator – 1 Post

In addition, 2 Gender Specialist posts are available at the State Hub for Empowerment of Women, Assam.
Age Limit:
For the advertised positions, candidates must be:
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 38 years
The age will be calculated as on 1 January 2026.
For determining age, the notification specifies that the date of birth must be supported by a Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths or a Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council. No other document will be accepted in lieu of the specified documents.
Residency Requirement:
(i) Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
(ii) Applicants are required to produce a Voter ID or Aadhaar Card as proof of residency.
(iii) For district-level positions, there is an additional important condition: only candidates from the respective district can apply, and a candidate can apply for only one district-level position, not multiple positions.
Other Important Eligibility Conditions:
(i) Selected candidates will be required to undergo antecedent verification by Police and obtain a fitness certificate from a Government medical practitioner before engagement.
(ii) Candidates selected for the interview must also produce their original documents for verification.
