The Assam Veterinary and Fishery University (AVFU), Khanapara, Guwahati has released a recruitment notification for a Walk-in Interview to fill 1 (one) post of Enumerator (Semi-skilled) under the ICAR-AICRP on Goat Improvement project at the Goat Research Station, Burnihat.
Eligible and interested candidates may appear for the walk-in interview along with the prescribed application, bio-data, educational certificates and other relevant documents. The post is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project.

Salary: Rs. 446/- per day
Educational Qualification:
(i) As per the notification, preference will be given to candidates who have passed H.S. (Higher Secondary).
(ii) Preference will also be given to candidates who are mobile A.I. technicians and have experience in:
• Working at a goat farm
• Data collection
Therefore, candidates with H.S. qualification along with relevant experience in goat farming and data collection may receive preference during selection.
Age Limit:
The age limit for the post is:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 38 years
Age relaxation is available as follows:
SC/ST candidates: 5 years
OBC candidates: 3 years
Accordingly, the maximum age may be relaxed up to 43 years for SC/ST candidates and 41 years for OBC candidates, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification.
Knowledge of Bodo Language: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bodo language for the advertised position.
Nature of Job:
(i) The post of Enumerator (Semi-skilled) is purely temporary and will continue only for the duration of the project.
(ii) The selected candidate will not have any right to claim permanent employment or continued engagement in Assam Veterinary and Fishery University after completion/termination of the project.
Nature of Duties:
(i) The nature of duties under the project will include field-related activities across the state.
(ii) Candidates applying for this position should therefore be prepared to undertake field-related work as required under the project.

The place of posting for the selected candidate will be: Ouguri, Goreswar, Tamulpur (BTAD).
