The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released Advertisement for the recruitment of Research Assistant under the Labour Welfare Department, Government of Assam. Educational Qualification:
(i) Candidates must possess at least a 2nd Class Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University.
(ii) Applicants are required to upload the relevant mark sheets of all semesters/years showing the subjects studied along with the final pass certificate.
Preferable Experience/Qualification:
The advertisement mentions the following preferable qualifications/experience:
1. Diploma in Computer Application.
2. Experience in dealing with subjects of Labour Laws in a Government Department/Organization.
3. Degree or Diploma in Labour Laws/Social Work.

The age will be determined on the basis of the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card, Pass Certificate or Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board or Council where the date of birth is clearly mentioned.
PwBD Candidates:
(i) Candidates claiming eligibility under the PwBD category must possess a Benchmark Disability of 40% or more and must produce the required certificate issued by the competent authority.
(ii) However, the advertisement specifically states that there is no post reserved for PwBD candidates for this recruitment. Therefore, eligible PwBD candidates will have to compete with other candidates without PwBD reservation.
Small Family Norms: Candidates are required to submit a declaration regarding the Small Family Norms in Form-A while applying for the post, as prescribed under the relevant Government notification.
