Name of Post: Driver (Temporary)

No of Posts: 1

Education Qualification and Experience: Class VIII passed and having a valid driving licence. Applicants who possess a Post Graduate Degree or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post.

Selecting Process: Driving/skill test and viva voice

Age limit: The candidate must not be less than 18 years and above 40 years of age. The relaxation of age shall be made as per Govt. OM vide No.ABP.6/2016/52 dated 02/09/2020 and the determinative date shall be 01-01-2025.

Salary: Rs.15,000/- per month (fixed)

Terms and Conditions:

1. The candidate should have knowledge of the official language of the State of Assam.

2. The candidate must be not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2025.

3. The candidate must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License issued by a competent authority.

4. The candidate must have at least 3 (three) years of experience in driving.

5. No individual call letters will be issued to candidates. All updates and notifications will be published on the official website — [https://baksa.dcourts.gov.in](https://baksa.dcourts.gov.in).

6. Unnecessary correspondence with the office should be avoided; such actions may lead to rejection of candidature.

7. Incomplete application forms (without photograph, signature, or required documents) will be summarily rejected.

8. Candidates already in government service must submit their applications through proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

9. Any false information found in the application will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature or termination of service without notice, if detected after appointment.

10. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official website along with the date of the Skill/Driving Test.

11. Shortlisted candidates must appear for the Skill/Driving Test. Those who qualify will be called for document verification and viva-voce/interview.

13. The last date of receipt of applications is 15-11-2025 by 4:30 P.M.

14. The tentative date for the Skill/Driving Test is 30-11-2025.

15. Canvassing in any form, directly or indirectly, shall lead to disqualification.

16. Applications submitted through any other mode except as mentioned will be rejected without any communication.

17. Inclusion of a candidate’s name in the Skill/Driving Test list does not guarantee appointment.

18. If any disqualification or false information is found after selection, the candidate’s service shall be terminated immediately without notice.

19. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the Skill/Driving Test or Viva-voce/Interview.

20. The candidate will be solely responsible for any mistakes made in the application form.

21. The applicant and his/her family members must not be beneficiaries of the Orunudoi Scheme or must have voluntarily opted out of it as of the date of appointment/engagement, as per Govt. O.M. No. E.Comp.147229/367 dated 30-12-2024.

22. The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel, alter, or modify the advertisement or any terms and conditions without prior notice.

The intending candidates must submit their duly filled application in a sealed envelope superscribed “Application for the post of Driver (Contingent)” by hand, speed post, or courier to the "District & Sessions Judge, Baksa, Mushalpur, Pin–781372" in the Drop Box placed at the office premises on or before 15/11/2025 by 04:30 P.M. along with all required self-attested documents and photographs; applications received after the due date or through any other mode will not be accepted.
