Education: Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or any Stream from a recognized University.

To work here you need to be good with computers. You should have a diploma or certificate in computer skills that lasted least six months. This diploma or certificate has to be from a school that the government says is okay.

Computer Skills: You need to be good at using computer programs, like Microsoft Office, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. You should also know how to use the Internet.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or any Stream from a recognized University.

To work here you need to be good with computers. You should have a diploma or certificate in computer proficiency that's at least six months long from an institute that the government recognizes. This is a must for the job. You have to have this certificate, from a government recognized institute to be eligible.

Computer Skills: You need to be good at using computer programs, like Microsoft Office. This includes Word and Excel and PowerPoint and Access. You should also know how to use the internet.

Age Limit (as on 04/01/2026): The candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years of age.


Age Relaxation:

✓ OBC/MOBC: 3 years

✓ General: As per government rules

To figure out someones age we look at their High School Leaving Certificate or their Class X or Class XII exam admit card. Pass certificate or marksheet. This document has to be, from a known central or state board or council. The important thing is that the document must have the persons age or date of birth on it. We use the Age or Date of Birth from the High School Leaving Certificate or the Class X or Class XII exam admit card. Pass certificate or marksheet to calculate the age.

Selection Procedure:

Three-Phase Test:

The selection process for this will have three parts. We will let you know the date, time and place of the exams and meetings, on the Vishwavidyalayas website.

PHASE-I: Screening Test (OMR based)

(a) Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).

(b) Marks: 100.

(c) Duration: 2 hours.

(d) Subjects: General Studies (Current affairs, History, Geography, Economy, Polity), Numerical Ability, General Mental Ability, Sports/Books/Author, Literature, Culture & Festivals of Assam.


PHASE-II: Written Test (Conventional Type)

The people who are chosen from the part, which is Phase-I will get a call. These candidates, from Phase-I will be the ones who are selected to move.

(b) Marks: 100.

(c) Duration: 2 hours.

(d) Subjects: General English (Report Writing, Comprehension, Grammar - 50 Marks), Office Procedure & General Administration (25 Marks), Precis writing, Drafting & General Knowledge (25 Marks).


PHASE-III: Computer Practical Test and Interaction

The people who are chosen from Phase-II will get a call. This means that only the candidates who do well in Phase-II will be selected to move. These candidates will then be contacted, which is what we mean by they will be called. The candidates who are shortlisted from Phase-II will receive this call.

(b) Computer Practical Test: 50 Marks, 1.5 hours duration.

(c) Academic Credentials (Interaction): 50 Marks.

The final list of people who did well is called the Final Merit List. This list will be made by looking at how people did in Phase-II and Phase-III. The people who did better in these two phases will be, on the Final Merit List.


How to Apply (Online and Hardcopy Submission):

If you want to apply and you are eligible you need to do two things to complete the application process, for the job:

1. Online Application:

✓ Visit the official SAMARTH web link to submit the application: https://bssrvnt.samarth.edu.in.

The online application process starts on 24-11-2025. This is when you can begin to apply. The online application process will end on 04-01-2026. So you need to apply for the application before this date. The online application process is only available, between these two dates.

✓ Complete the fee payment via the bank details provided and fill in the transaction details in the online portal.

2. Hardcopy Submission:

When you finish filling out the application you need to send the paper copy of the online application form and the receipt that shows you paid the fee to the Registrar. The online application is not complete until the Registrar gets these papers. You have to make sure the Registrar gets the copy of the online application form and the Fee Payment receipt.

The application and the receipt should get to me the person who signed this on or before the 19th of January 2026. I need to have the application and the receipt, by that date.

3. For Government Employees:

If you are a candidate who is already working for the Government you need to upload a certificate. This certificate should be issued by the person in charge to prove that you are indeed employed by the Government. The certificate is necessary to show that you are a Government employee.

You have to get this certificate from your boss or the person who's, in charge of your office. They will give you a certificate that says you work for the Government. Then you have to upload this certificate to prove your employment with the Government.

Remember, if you are a Government employee you must upload this certificate. It is necessary to prove that you are a candidate who is already working for the Government.

If you want to keep getting the pay and have your service continue you need to upload a thing called a No Objection Certificate. This certificate is very important, for candidates who want pay protection. So candidates must upload a No Objection Certificate.
