Department: Department of Life Science and Bioinformatics
Job Location: Silchar, Assam
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Botany as a compulsory subject.
Desirable Qualification:
Preference will be given to candidates having:
(i) M.Sc. degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Taxonomy
(ii) Computer knowledge
(iii) Statistical data handling skills
(iv) Understanding of molecular taxonomic tools
Work Requirement: The selected candidate will have to undertake extensive field surveys across high-altitude Himalayan regions.
Salary: Salary will be provided as per funding agency guidelines.
Duration of Appointment: The post is purely temporary for three (03) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
