The Tea Research Association, Tocklai Tea Research Institute (Jorhat, Assam) has released an official advertisement for the recruitment of Research Fellows under the Rainforest Alliance (New York, USA) sponsored project titled “Sustainable tea pest management in Assam: An IPM taskforce initiative.” A total of 03 posts are to be filled on a purely temporary and project-based contractual basis. Salary: ₹25,000/- per month (fixed)
Education Qualification: Master's degree (M.Sc) in Zoology/Entomology.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in field experiment, pesticide & bio-pesticide testing, report writing, and speaking and writing skills in Assamese language.
Age Limit: Up to 28 years.
Job Responsibilities: Conduct field experiments, communicate with garden personnel, implement treatments, regular pest & disease monitoring, data collection, and assist in report preparation.

Desirable: Experience in tea soil analysis, physical, chemical & biological analysis, interpretation of results and report preparation.
Age Limit: Up to 28 years.
Job Responsibilities: Conduct field experiments, collect soil samples from trial fields, processing, analysis and report preparation.

Project Duration: 1 Year
