The Office of the Principal-cum-Chief Superintendent, Diphu Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Diphu, Karbi-Anglong, Assam has released an official advertisement for the recruitment of a post under the Medical College Level Virus Research & Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) sponsored by DHR. The post is to be filled on a purely temporary and contractual engagement basis. Interested candidates are invited to appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the Administrative Block of Diphu Medical College & Hospital.

Salary: Rs. 20,000 + HRA (Monthly Remuneration fixed)
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential: B.Sc. (MLT) from a government-recognized university OR 12th pass in Science and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (DMLT) from a government-recognized university OR High school with 5 years Lab Experience.Desirable: Two years experience in Govt. Institutions in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical College. Knowledge of computer application/data management.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates having B.Sc. (MLT) over DMLT and high school with 5 years lab experience.
Age Limit:
(a) 21-30 Years.
(b) Age is relaxable in accordance with GOI instructions.
(c) Up to 05 years age relaxation for candidates with at least 02 years previous experience of working as project staff in a VRDL or extramural research project on Virology or Microbiology in a Medical college.
Terms of Employment:
The duration of employment will be one year (12 months), extendable depending on the candidate's performance and budget grant. The post is purely temporary.

(b) Two recent self-signed passport-sized colored photographs attached to the CV.
(c) All relevant educational qualifications and experience certificates (Originals).
