Nature of Engagement: Temporary & Contractual

Duration of Engagement: Up to 31 March 2026 (or till project requirement)

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month (Fixed)

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 45 years
Age to be calculated as on 01-01-2025

Essential Qualification:

(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Geography / Geology / Mathematics / Geo-Informatics / Physics / Computer Science or related discipline

(ii) Along with Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing / Geo-Informatics

OR

MCA / M.A / M.Sc in Geography / Geology / Mathematics / Environmental Science with GIS / Geo-Informatics as one subject or certificate/diploma in GIS/Remote Sensing.

Desirable Qualification: M.Tech / M.Sc in GIS & Remote Sensing / Geo-Informatics

Skills & Technical Knowledge Required:

(i) Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Global Mapper, AutoCAD

(ii) Knowledge of spatial data formats (Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML)

(iii) Experience in geospatial data digitization

(iv) Understanding of cadastral & non-cadastral map preparation

(v) Familiarity with Drone Survey, HRSI interpretation

(vi) Knowledge of modern survey tools like RTK GNSS Rovers, DGPS, ETS

(vii) Good communication skills and ability to work independently

(viii) Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs

(ix) Fluency in Assamese, Hindi, and English

Job Responsibilities:

• Digitization of geospatial data of cadastral and non-cadastral villages

• Updating cadastral maps in Bhunaksha

• Quality assurance of GIS data

• Preparation of GIS reports, presentations, and data visualization

• Providing GIS technical support to officials and team members

• Use of drone data and modern survey techniques for land mapping

Experience:

• Prior experience in GIS-related work or internship is preferred but not mandatory

• Preference will be given to candidates having:
   - Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
   - RCCC-trained candidates with strong GIS command
