Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have:

• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• Board must be recognized by the Government of India
Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 01 July 2004 to 31 December 2008 (both dates inclusive)
Marital Status:
(i) Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible
(ii) Marriage is not permitted during the 4-year service period
Musical Eligibility:
Candidates must have:
(i) Good musical aptitude (tempo, pitch, singing ability)
(ii) Ability to perform one complete song
(iii) Practical skill in at least one musical instrument
Accepted Instruments:
(i) Keyboard
(ii) String instruments
(iii) Wind instruments
(iv) Any recognized Indian/foreign instruments
Not Eligible Instruments:
(i) Jazz drum set
(ii) Bass drum, side drum, cymbals
(iii) Bugle or single-note instruments
Musical Certificate Requirement:
Certificate from recognized institute for classical music

Grade certificate from international boards like Trinity College London
OR
Participation/award certificates for other candidates

Total service period: 4 years
No guarantee of permanent job
Up to 25% candidates may be selected for permanent service based on performance
