Assam University, Diphu Campus has released an official advertisement inviting applications for the posts of Research Assistant and Field Investigator under the ICSSR-sponsored Minor Research Project titled "Assessment of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) System and Service Delivery: A Study of Orunodoi, PM-KISAN and Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina (MMNM) Schemes in Assam." Vacancy Details:
1. Research Assistant
No. of Posts: 01
Duration: 8 Months
Salary: ₹37,000/- per month
Educational Qualification:
(i) Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks.
(ii) Preference will be given to candidates with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.
Desirable: Research experience in field surveys, data analysis, report writing, and knowledge of DBT/social welfare schemes.
2. Field Investigator
No. of Posts: 01
Duration: 3 Months
Salary: ₹20,000/- per month
(i) Graduate in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks.
(ii) Preference will be given to candidates with a four-year graduation programme.
Desirable: Prior fieldwork experience, communication skills, documentation skills, and the ability to conduct interviews in local field settings.
