The Office of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kamrup (Metro), Guwahati has released an official recruitment notification for the contractual engagement of 02 posts, including Driver and Office Peon (Munshi/Attendant). Eligible Indian citizens can apply in the prescribed Standard Form of Application published in Assam Gazette Part IX.

Vacancy Details:
1. Driver
No. of Posts: 01
Monthly Honorarium: ₹15,000/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Class X (HSLC/10th).
Selection Process: Driving Skill Test followed by Viva Voce/Interview.
2. Office Peon (Munshi/Attendant)
No. of Posts: 01
Monthly Honorarium: ₹15,000/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Class VIII.
Important: Candidates who have passed HSSLC (Class 12) or above are not eligible for this post.
Selection Process: Viva Voce/Interview.
Age Limit:
As on 01 January 2026:
General: 18 to 40 years
OBC/MOBC: Up to 43 years
SC/ST: Up to 45 years
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Applicant must be an Indian Citizen.
(ii) For the Driver post, candidates must possess a valid Driving Licence.
(iii) Appointments are purely temporary and contractual.
Selection Process:
Driver: Driving Skill Test followed by Viva Voce/Interview.
Office Peon: Viva Voce/Interview.
