The LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH), Tezpur, Assam, an Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of Project Technical Support-III under the National Survey on Extent and Pattern of Substance Use in India (NDUS-2025) project. The project is commissioned by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, and coordinated by the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS, New Delhi. Eligible candidates are invited to attend the Walk-in Interview scheduled on 13 August 2026.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess either:
• A Three-year Graduate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Statistics, Population Studies, or any allied health/social science discipline with three years of post-qualification experience.
OR
• A Postgraduate Degree in any of the above-mentioned disciplines from a recognized University/Institution.
Age Limit:
Maximum Age: 35 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India/ICMR norms.
Salary: Selected candidates will receive ₹28,000/- per month plus HRA as admissible under prevailing ICMR norms and the approved project budget.
Duration of Appointment: The appointment is initially for six months or until the continuation of the current project phase, whichever is earlier. The tenure may be extended depending on project requirements, availability of funds, and satisfactory performance.
Nature of Work: The selected candidate will assist the Regional Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators in implementing NDUS-2025 activities in Assam. Responsibilities include stakeholder coordination, project documentation, field monitoring, revalidation activities, training, data management, report preparation, and other project-related assignments.
