The LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH), Tezpur, an Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of contractual staff under the Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) Scheme. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for 03 vacancies on a purely contractual basis for a period of one year. The selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview.

Vacancy Details
1. Medical Officer
No. of Posts: 01
Salary: ₹60,000/- per month (Fixed)
Age Limit: Up to 62 years
Educational Qualification:
(i) MBBS from a recognized Institute.
(ii) Preference will be given to candidates possessing MD or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry.
2. Staff Nurse
No. of Posts: 01
Salary: ₹20,000/- per month (Fixed)
Age Limit: Up to 43 years
Educational Qualification:
(i) ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife).
(ii) Preference will be given to GNM or B.Sc. Nursing candidates.
3. Counsellor
No. of Posts: 01
Salary: ₹20,000/- per month (Fixed)
Age Limit: Up to 43 years
Educational Qualification:
(i) Graduate in Psychology / Social Work / Sociology.
(ii) Preference will be given to candidates having a Master's Degree in the concerned discipline.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected through a Walk-in Interview scheduled on 12 August 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards at the MS Conference Room, Administrative Building, LGBRIMH, Tezpur. Candidates must bring all original certificates and documents for verification at the time of the interview.

Important Terms & Conditions:
(i) The appointment is purely contractual for one year under the ATF Scheme.
(ii) The contract may be extended depending on fund availability and Institute requirements.
(iii) The appointment will not confer any right to regular employment at LGBRIMH.
(iv) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
(v) Selected candidates will not be entitled to benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical facilities, Promotion, or Seniority.
(vi) Candidates already employed must produce a relieving certificate before joining.
(vii) The decision of the Selection Committee will be final.
