The Office of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Majuli has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of 1 Driver (Contractual). Eligible Indian citizens are invited to apply for the post. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications on or before 07 August 2026.

Monthly Salary: Rs. 15,000/- (Fixed Pay)
Educational Qualification:
(i) Candidates must have passed HSLC.
(ii) Must possess a valid LMV Driving Licence.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years as on the date of submission of the application.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government rules for reserved categories.
Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of India as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Selection Process:
The selection process consists of two stages:
Stage-I: Skill Test
A driving test will be conducted to assess:
• Driving skills
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Basic motor mechanics
Stage-II: Viva-Voce/Interview
Candidates qualifying in the Skill Test will be called for the Viva-Voce/Interview.
Final Selection: Based on the aggregate marks obtained in both the Skill Test and Viva-Voce/Interview.

• Self-attested copies of all educational and other testimonials.
• Two recent self-attested passport-size photographs.
• Copies of experience certificates (if any).

Important Instructions:
(i) The last date for receipt of applications is 07 August 2026 (5:00 PM).
(ii) Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
(iii) Candidates should provide a valid contact number, preferably a WhatsApp-enabled mobile number.
(iv) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
(v) Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
(vi) The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
