Guwahati, August 2026: The Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding, College of Veterinary Science, Assam Veterinary and Fishery University (AVFU), Khanapara, has invited applications from eligible candidates for two contractual Semi-Skilled Worker posts under the ICAR-NBAGR funded Network Project on Animal Genetic Resources (ANWP on AnGR). The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in interview on 11 August 2026 at 11:00 AM.

Educational Qualification:
Essential: Higher Secondary (10+2) passed.

Eligibility & Terms:
(i) Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

(iii) Posting will be at Kamrup (R) and Lakhimpur.
(iv) No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
(v) The appointment is temporary and may be terminated without prior notice.
