The Office of the Member, Foreigners Tribunal Dibrugarh 2nd, Dibrugarh, Assam has released an official recruitment advertisement for the post of Office Peon. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for 1 (One) post on a purely temporary basis. The selected candidate will receive a fixed pay of Rs. 9,000/- per month.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Class VIII.

Salary: Fixed Pay of Rs. 9,000/- per month.


Eligibility Criteria:

Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must have registered his/her name in the Employment Exchange. The registration number along with the date of registration must be mentioned in the application form.

Caste/Tribe Certificate: Candidates belonging to reserved categories must submit the Caste/Tribe certificate issued by the competent authority along with the application form.


Age Limit:

Candidates must not be less than 18 years and must not be more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2026.

The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:

OBC/MOBC: Up to 43 years

SC/ST(P) and ST(H): Up to 45 years

Age proof documents must be submitted along with the application.

Important Instructions:

(i) The post of Office Peon is purely temporary and may continue only as long as the Foreigners Tribunal exists. Employees appointed to the post will have no claim to continue in service if the Tribunals are abolished.

(ii) No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the Walk-in Interview.

(iii) No separate call letter will be issued to selected candidates for the Walk-in Interview. Candidates will be informed through the contact number mentioned in the application form.

(iv) Candidates who are already working in Government service may apply through the proper channel. Such candidates must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer during document verification and submit a release order at the time of joining.


Documents to be Submitted:

The application must be accompanied by the following documents:

1. Self-attested copies of certificates/diplomas in support of the educational qualification.

2. Three self-attested copies of recent passport-size photographs. The candidate's name should be written on the reverse side of the photographs.

3. One self-addressed envelope measuring 5 cm × 11 cm, affixing a postal stamp of Rs. 10/-.

4. A signed Medical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

5. Certificates of Good Character from two respectable persons who are well acquainted with, but not related to, the candidate.

6. Caste/Tribe certificate, wherever applicable.

7. Employment Exchange Registration details.

8. Age-proof supporting documents.

9. No Objection Certificate, wherever applicable.

The name of the post applied for must be clearly written on the top of the envelope.

The candidate's mobile number must be mentioned on the top of the application and the candidate should specifically mention the respective mobile number in the application form.

Incomplete, defective or invalid applications, including applications without photograph and signature, are liable to be rejected.
