Goalpara Foreigners’ Tribunal No. 4, Assam has released a recruitment advertisement for the engagement of Data Entry Operator on a purely contractual basis. Eligible candidates are invited to appear for a Walk-in Interview to be held on 8 September 2026 at the premises of the Municipal Office, Goalpara, Kachari Ghat.
The recruitment is being conducted pursuant to a communication received from the Home & Political Department, Government of Assam. Interested candidates who fulfill the required educational and computer qualifications may appear before the Selection Committee along with all required testimonials in original.

Fixed Pay: Rs. 10,000/- per month
Educational Qualification:
(i) Candidates must have passed HS (Higher Secondary) from a recognized Board/Council.
(ii) Candidates must possess a minimum six-month Computer Diploma having knowledge of DTP.
(iii) Candidates must have the ability to type large quantities of numbers and English and Assamese text accurately.
Age Limit:
The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
The maximum age limit as on 1 January 2026 is:
Unreserved Category: 40 years
OBC/MOBC: 43 years
SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years
Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 50 years
Engagement Criteria:
The appointment will be purely contractual, and there will be no provision for regularization.
Preference will be given to:
(i) Candidates who have their home district/local address in the concerned area.
(ii) Candidates having work experience.
Candidates applying for these temporary posts should have their names registered with the Employment Exchange.
Candidates who are already working in any organization or office and apply for these temporary posts must furnish an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their present employer, wherever applicable.
The selected candidate will have no claim for appointment against any permanent Government post.
Required Documents:
Eligible candidates are required to appear in the prescribed Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette Part-IX) along with the required documents.
Candidates should bring the following testimonials/documents in original along with a photocopy set:
1. Standard Form of Application mentioning valid contact number and email ID.
2. Three recent passport-size colour photographs with blue background and full signature on the backside.
3. A set of self-attested photocopies of the required documents.
4. Handwritten self-declaration on A4-size paper as prescribed in the advertisement.
5. HSLC Admit Card or Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth.
6. Class XII pass mark sheet and pass certificate.
7. Valid certificate of Diploma in Computer Application of minimum six months.
8. Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
9. Caste Certificate, wherever applicable.
Selection Process:
The selection will be conducted through a two-tier selection procedure.
Tier-I – Documents Verification and Personal Interview
Date: 08 September 2026
The Tier-I stage will consist of Documents Verification and Personal Interview, carrying a total of 60 marks.
Only candidates who qualify/are shortlisted in Tier-I will be called for the next stage.
Tier-II – Computer Skill Test
The Tier-II Computer Skill Test will carry 40 marks.
The date of the Tier-II test will be notified later. Only candidates shortlisted from Tier-I will be eligible to appear in the Computer Skill Test.

Candidates are advised to reach the venue within the specified registration period with all original documents and photocopies.
Important Instructions:
(i) Candidates will have to appear for the interview/computer test at their own expense. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
(ii) If any information or document submitted by a candidate is found to be false, incorrect or forged, the candidature may be rejected. If such discrepancy is detected after appointment, the service may be terminated without notice.
(iii) The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or its terms and conditions without prior notice.
(iv) The final result of the Walk-in Interview is scheduled to be declared on the Office Notice Board and District Administration Website on 09 September 2026. The list of candidates selected for the skill test will be notified through their email IDs and contact numbers.
