Salary:
Selected candidates for the Veterinary Field Assistant and allied posts will receive salary under Pay Band-2 of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/-, along with other allowances admissible from time to time.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates applying for direct recruitment to the cadre of Veterinary Field Assistant must have:
(i) Passed the full-time HSSLC (Class 12) examination in Science stream.
(ii) Biology must be one of the subjects.
(iii) The qualification must be obtained from a recognized Board/Council/University.
Age Limit:
The candidate must be:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
The age will be calculated as on 1st January 2026.
Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxable as per the existing Government provisions:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC/MOBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
The candidate must:
(i) Be an Indian Citizen as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
(ii) Be a permanent resident of Assam.
(iii) Upload a copy of a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes as proof of domicile.
