Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh has released a recruitment notification for various temporary Project Human Resource positions under an ICMR-sponsored research project. The recruitment is being conducted for the project titled “Preterm or LBW Core through Early CPAP, Immediate KMC and MNCU, Antenatal Steroids and early Enteral Feeding (PTEC1SE): A Multicentric Implementation Research Study” under the Department of Pediatrics, Assam Medical College Hospital, Dibrugarh.
Eligible Indian citizens can appear for the walk-in interview for the advertised posts. The interview is scheduled to be held on 14 October 2026 from 11:00 AM onwards at the Newborn Unit of Pediatrics, Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), Dibrugarh.

1. Project Scientist-II (Medical)
Number of Posts: 01
Essential Qualification:
(i) MBBS/BVSc/BDS with three years of post-qualification experience; or MBBS/BVSc/BDS along with a Post
(ii) Graduate Degree such as MD/MVSc/MDS/MPH or equivalent degree, including integrated PG degrees; or
(iii) MBBS/BVSc/BDS with PhD.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 80,000 + 10% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 40 years
2. Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)
Number of Posts: 01
Essential Qualification:
(i) Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees.
(ii) For Engineering/IT/Computer Science candidates, a four-year graduate degree is required.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 67,000 + 10% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
3. Project Nurse-II
Number of Posts: 12
Essential Qualification: Candidates must have a Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and must be a registered nurse or ANM with any State Nursing Council.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 20,000 + 10% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 30 years
4. Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification:
(i) Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees.
(ii) For Engineering/IT/Computer Science candidates, a four-year graduate degree is required.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 56,000 + 10% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
5. Project Nurse-II
Number of Posts: 02
Essential Qualification:
(i) Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent.
(ii) Candidates must be registered nurses or ANMs with any State Nursing Council.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 20,000 + 10% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 30 years
6. Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) for 2nd & 3rd Year

Essential Qualification:
(i) Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees.
(ii) For Engineering/IT/Computer Science candidates, a four-year graduate degree is required.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 56,000 + 10% HRA

Assam Medical College Walk-in Interview Date and Venue:
The selection for the advertised project positions will be conducted through a walk-in interview.

Time: 11:00 AM onwards
Venue: Newborn Unit of Pediatrics, AMCH, Dibrugarh
Candidates should reach the venue in time. The walk-in interview will commence after verification of the original certificates.
