The Office of the Registrar, Dibrugarh University, Assam has issued an official recruitment notification inviting applications from eligible, qualified, and competent candidates for engagement to contractual posts in different branches and departments of the University.

Name of the Post: Junior Engineer (Civil) (on contract basis)
Branch / Place of Posting: Planning & Construction Branch, Dibrugarh University
Number of Posts: A total of 02 (two) posts are available for this position.
(a) 01 post reserved for ST (P) category
(b) 01 post reserved for OBC / MOBC category
Reservation will be followed strictly as per Government of Assam norms.
Essential Qualification:
(a) Candidates applying for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) must possess:
(b) Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
This qualification is mandatory, and candidates who do not fulfill this requirement will not be considered eligible.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
(a) Minimum one (01) year of working experience in the relevant field of Civil Engineering
(b) Proficient knowledge of AUTOCAD, which is essential for planning, designing, and construction-related activities under the Planning & Construction Branch
Salary: The selected candidates will be paid a consolidated fixed salary of ₹31,400/- (Rupees Thirty-One Thousand Four Hundred only) per month. No additional allowances such as DA or HRA will be admissible, as the engagement is purely contractual.

Name of the Post: Laboratory Attendant (on contract basis)
Department: Department of Chemistry, Dibrugarh University
Number of Posts: 01 (one) post, reserved for ST (P) category candidates
Minimum Educational Qualification:
(a) Candidates applying for the Laboratory Attendant post must have:
(b) Passed 10+2 Examination in Science Stream
(c) Chemistry must be one of the subjects at the 10+2 level
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
Candidates having the following will be given preference:
(a) Minimum three (03) months Certificate Course in Computer Application
(b) Working experience in any educational institution or research institution, particularly in laboratory-related work
Salary: The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fixed pay of ₹19,200/- (Rupees Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred only) per month.
This remuneration is fixed and applicable for the contractual period only.
General Conditions and Notes:
The following important conditions apply to both posts:
1. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
2. A valid proof of permanent residency issued by a competent authority must be submitted along with the application form.
3. Age limit and age relaxation shall be applicable as per the latest Government of Assam rules.
4. No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview or any part of the selection process.
