Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Resham Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati has released an official notification for conducting Walk-in Interviews for engagement of Assistant Professor (Contractual) positions in various disciplines. The appointments will be made for the University Headquarters (Rani), City Campus (Khanapara), and Regional Centres located at Jorhat, Bongaigaon, Lakhimpur, and Silchar.
Eligible candidates fulfilling the required qualifications are invited to appear in the walk-in interview as per the schedule notified by the University.

Educational Qualification (General):
(i) Master’s Degree in the relevant or allied subject as per UGC norms
(ii) Must possess NET / SLET or Ph.D.
Essential Qualification:
(i) Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
(ii) M.Ed. in Special Education in the respective disability area
OR
(iii) M.Ed. (General) with B.Ed. in Special Education in the respective disability area
(iv) Valid RCI Registration
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Ph.D. in Education / Special Education
(ii) UGC NET in Education / Special Education
(iii) Experience in ODL mode teaching or content development (preferred)
