The selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview in Hybrid Mode (Online + Offline). The appointment will be initially for one year, extendable up to a maximum tenure of three years, subject to satisfactory performance.

Vacancy Details:
The LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH), Tezpur has announced a total of 16 vacancies for the post of Senior Resident (SR) across various departments.
1. Psychiatry: A total of 10 posts are available. Out of these, 3 posts are unreserved (UR), 5 posts are reserved for OBC, 1 post for SC, and 1 post for ST category candidates. The maximum age limit for this department is 45 years.
2. Biochemistry: There are 2 vacancies, including 1 UR post and 1 OBC post. The upper age limit is 45 years.
3. Microbiology: A total of 2 posts are available, with 1 post for UR and 1 post reserved for SC candidates. The maximum age limit is 45 years.
4. Pathology: There are 2 vacancies, including 1 UR post and 1 SC post. The age limit for applicants is 45 years.

Essential Qualifications:
Academic Qualification:
(i) MBBS Degree
(ii) Postgraduate Degree / Diploma (MD / MS / DNB / Diploma) in the concerned specialty from a recognized Institution / University
Registration:
Valid registration with:
(i) National Medical Commission (NMC) or
(ii) State Medical Council (e.g., Assam Medical Council)
Pay Scale:
1. Pay Level: Level–11 of Pay Matrix
2. Entry Pay: ₹62,700/- per month
3. Plus:
• Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA)
• Other admissible allowances as per Central Government rules
General Conditions:
1. Interview Mode: Hybrid (Online + Offline)
2. Interview Venue (Offline): MS Conference Hall, Administrative Building,!LGBRIMH, Tezpur, Assam
3. Tenure:
• Initially for 1 year
• Extendable up to 3 years including any prior SR service in Govt. of India / State Govt. institutions
