NLUJA Assam Vacancy Details
1. Finance Officer:
Number of Posts: 1 (UR)
Pay Scale: Pay Level-14 with entry pay ₹1,44,200
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Finance with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Experience requirements include:
1. 15 years as Assistant Professor (Academic Level 11 or above) with educational administration experience, OR
2. 8 years as Associate Professor in Academic Level 12, OR
3. Comparable experience in research institutions/higher education institutions, OR
4. 15 years administrative experience with at least 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification:
1. Chartered Accountant with minimum 15 years experience as Accounts Officer in reputed universities or educational institutions.
2. Computer literacy and knowledge of finance and accounts software.
2. Deputy Registrar (Academic):
Number of Posts: 1 (UR)
Pay Scale: Level-12 with entry pay ₹78,800
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
Experience:
1. 9 years as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 10 or above with administrative experience, OR
2. Comparable experience in research institutions/higher education institutions, OR
3. 5 years administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification:
1. Ph.D. degree.
2. Experience in academic administration, especially in law schools or National Law Universities.
3. Knowledge of academic regulations and university governance.
3. Administrative Officer:
Number of Posts: 1 (UR)
Pay Band: ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000
Grade Pay: ₹13,900
Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized university.
2. Minimum 10 years experience in administration, including at least 5 years in a responsible position not below Senior Administrative Assistant or equivalent.
Desirable:
1. Master’s Degree in any discipline.
2. Experience in office organization, staff welfare and general administration.
4. Junior Administrative Assistant:
Number of Posts: 2 (1 SC Assam, 1 UR)
Pay Band: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000
Grade Pay: ₹8,700
Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
2. Knowledge of computer applications and digital record management.
Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in a university, government organization, or educational board.
5. System Operator:
Number of Posts: 1 (OBC/MOBC)
Pay Band: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000
Grade Pay: ₹8,700
Qualification:
1. BCA or equivalent, OR
2. Graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ Level Diploma, OR
3. Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering.
Experience:
1. Minimum 3 years experience in educational institutions or computer centres.
2. Knowledge of hardware, networking and software.
Desirable: Working knowledge of C++ and Tally.
6. Library Restorer:
Number of Posts: 1 (OBC/MOBC Assam)
Pay Band: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000
Grade Pay: ₹6,200
Qualification: Passed 10th standard from a recognized board.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in library-related work such as book maintenance, shelving, record keeping and library support operations.
7. Cook-cum-Attendant:
Number of Posts: 1 (UR)
Pay Band: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000
Grade Pay: ₹5,600
Qualification: Passed 8th standard from a recognized board.
Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years experience as a cook in a hostel, guest house, canteen or mess attached to educational institutions.
2. Knowledge of preparing vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and maintaining kitchen hygiene.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years as on the date of advertisement.
However, the upper age limits for certain posts are:
Finance Officer – 55 years
Deputy Registrar – 50 years
Administrative Officer – 45 years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC/MOBC: 3 years
PwD (40% disability): 10 years
