1. Field Trial Assistant
Number of Posts: 2
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
Monthly Salary: ₹20,000/-
Duration: Initially 3 months, extendable based on performance
Posting Locations:
(i) North Bengal Regional R&D Centre, West Bengal
(ii) Upper Assam Advisory Centre, Dikom
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Life Science / Entomology / Zoology / Tea Science from a recognized university.
Job Responsibilities:
(i) Execution of experimental layouts
(ii) Conducting multi-locational field trials
(iii) Data collection and analysis
(iv) Laboratory bioassays related to pest control research
2. Project Assistant
Number of Posts: 1
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years
Monthly Salary: ₹15,000/- + 8% HRA
Duration: 4 months
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Life Science / Entomology / Zoology / Plant Pathology.
Project Title: Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Taskforce to Develop and Trial Different Field Treatments for Pest and Diseases in Tea Plantations of Assam.
Job Responsibilities:
(i) Conducting field trials and experiments
(ii) Data collection and documentation
(iii) Laboratory bioassays related to pest management
3. Non-Technical Assistant
Number of Posts: 1
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years
Monthly Salary: ₹10,000/-
Duration: 11 months
Educational Qualification:
(i) Graduate in any discipline
(ii) Basic computer knowledge required
Job Responsibilities:
(i) File and logbook maintenance
(ii) Stock register management
(iii) Computer typing and MS Office work
(iv) Other departmental office activities

(i) All posts are temporary and project-based.
