The District Legal Services Authority Cachar has released an official recruitment notification for the post of Driver on a contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply offline before the last date. Candidates who have passed HSLC and possess a valid LMV Driving License can apply for this opportunity.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have:
(i) Minimum Class X (HSLC) pass from a recognized board.
(ii) Valid LMV Driving License issued by the competent authority.
(iii) The driving license must have been issued at least 3 years before the publication of the advertisement.
(iv) Valid Employment Registration Certificate issued by the Government of Assam.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
Stage 1: Driving Test (30 Marks)
Stage 2: Viva-Voce (30 Marks)
Preference will be given to:
1. Candidates scoring higher marks in the Driving Test.
2. Senior candidates in age if marks remain equal.
