The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Hojai, Assam has released an official recruitment notification inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Peon. Salary: Selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹12,000 – ₹52,000 per month with Grade Pay ₹3,900, along with other admissible allowances as per ROP Rules, 2017.
Educational Qualification:
(i) Candidates must have passed Class VIII.
(ii) Candidates who have passed HSLC or any higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
(iii) Applicants must submit a self-declaration certificate stating that they have not passed HSLC or any equivalent or higher examination.
(iv) Candidates having special skills such as driving, plumbing, computer knowledge, technical or other life skills will be given preference, provided they possess the required educational qualification.
Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

As on 01 January 2026:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
OBC/MOBC: 3 years
Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
Selection Process: Selection will be based only on Viva-Voce/Interview.

• Self-attested copies of age, caste and educational certificates
• Self-declaration certificate
• Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate
