Name of Post: Local Bank Officer (LBO)

Pay Scale: Rs. 48,480–85,920 plus DA, HRA/Leased Accommodation, CCA, Medical Insurance, Leave Fare Concession, Retirement Benefits and other allowances as per Bank rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Graduate degree in any discipline from a University or Institution recognized by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. Candidates must have obtained the degree on or before 09 August 2026.
Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of post-qualification work experience in the Clerical or Officer Cadre of any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the RBI Act, 1934.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 20 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
The age will be calculated as on 01 July 2026.

Local Language Requirement:
(i) Candidates must be able to read, write and speak the prescribed local language of the state for which they are applying.
(ii) For Assam, proficiency in Assamese or Bodo is mandatory. Candidates who did not study the local language in Class 10 or 12 will have to qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).
Selection Process:
The selection process consists of:
1. Online Written Examination
2. Screening of Documents
3. Local Language Proficiency Test (if applicable)
4. Personal Interview
Final selection will be based on the combined performance in the Online Test and Interview, subject to qualifying the Local Language Proficiency Test wherever applicable.

There will be negative marking of one-fourth (0.25) mark for every wrong answer.
