Foreigners Tribunal, Chirang, Kajalgaon has released an official recruitment advertisement for the engagement of Data Entry Operators on a purely contractual basis and on an outsourcing basis. A total of 2 vacancies are available. Eligible candidates who are Indian citizens and domiciled in the State of Assam are invited to submit their applications in offline mode.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) and must possess a Computer Diploma/Certificate Course of minimum 6 months' duration from any Government-recognized institution.
Therefore, candidates applying for the Data Entry Operator post must fulfill both the Higher Secondary qualification and the required computer course qualification.
Age Limit:
The age limit for the post will be as per the existing Government policy.
The upper age limit is:
General: Up to 40 years
OBC/MOBC: Up to 43 years
SC/ST: Up to 45 years
Residential Eligibility:
(i) The advertisement states that eligible candidates must be Indian citizens as defined under the Constitution of India and domiciled in the State of Assam.
(ii) Preference will be given to candidates residing in Chirang district.
(iii) Thus, the recruitment is specifically applicable to candidates domiciled in Assam, with preference for residents of Chirang district.
Selection Process:
The selection for the Data Entry Operator post will be conducted through:

2. Walk-in Interview
Candidates provisionally allowed for the recruitment process will be notified through the notice board of the Foreigners Tribunal, Chirang.
The list of provisionally eligible candidates and rejected candidates will be notified on 26 August 2026 at 4:00 PM, after scrutiny of the applications.
The date of the Walk-in Interview and Typing Test will be notified later on the office notice board.
Documents Required:
Candidates are required to submit a duly filled Assam Gazette Part-IX Standard Form along with self-attested copies of the required documents.
The following documents are required:
• Educational qualification certificates and marksheets
• Computer Diploma/Certificate of minimum 6 months' duration
• Age proof certificate
• Employment Exchange Registration Certificate
• Caste Certificate, wherever applicable
• Two recent passport-size photographs
The passport-size photographs should be duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side.

Important Terms and Conditions:
(i) Candidates must produce their original certificates/documents at the time of the Walk-in Interview. The originals will be returned after verification with the self-attested copies.
(ii) Applications/documents found to be misleading, misrepresented, incomplete or false may lead to cancellation of candidature.
(iii) Candidates who are currently working in any organization or office and are applying for this post must furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present organization/office.
(iv) The post is purely temporary and for a fixed period. The engagement is subject to approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, from time to time. Selection for this post will not give the candidate any claim for appointment to a permanent Government post.
(v) The selected candidate may be terminated at any time on grounds of non-performance or indiscipline without prior notice.
(vi) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the recruitment process.
(vii) Any candidate found canvassing directly or indirectly will have their candidature rejected.
