Assam Veterinary and Fishery University (AVFU), Khanapara, Guwahati has released an advertisement for recruitment to 3 temporary posts under the DBT-funded project titled “Genomics-based Discovery of (Potential) Pathogens for India’s North-Eastern Region (GDP-FINER)”. The recruitment is being conducted by the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, College of Veterinary Science, AVFU.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have an M.V.Sc. or M.Sc. in Life Science along with 2 years’ experience in Research & Development in an Industrial/Academic Institution or Science & Technology organization.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA.
2nd Post
Name of Post: Project Associate-I

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have an M.V.Sc. or M.Sc. in Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualification: Expertise in Molecular Biology.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA.
3rd Post
Name of Post: Field Worker
No. of Post: 01
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Graduate degree in any discipline.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 18,000/- + HRA.
Selection Process:
Only short-listed candidates will be called to appear for the interview. Short-listed candidates will be informed through email and/or phone.
The selection committee may, if considered necessary, conduct a written test on a specified date for short-listing candidates. If a written test is conducted, the date of the interview may be postponed accordingly.
