Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
(a) HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board.
(b) Valid Driving License:
• LMV/MMV/HMV for Driver Constable & related posts.
• HMV only for Driver & Driver Operator in Fire & Emergency Services.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026):
• 18 to 25 years for most posts.
• 18 to 40 years for Driver (Forest Department).
Age Relaxation:
• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen & Home Guards: As per rules
Other Requirements:
• Must be a Citizen of India and Permanent Resident of Assam.
• Must be registered with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
• Must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
