The Office of the Nodal Officer-cum-Principal Investigator (P.I.), RGM Funded Project, College of Veterinary Science, Assam Veterinary & Fisheries University (AVFU), Khanapara, Guwahati has issued an official notification for conducting a Walk-in Interview to engage Skilled Worker and Semi-Skilled Worker on a daily wage basis.
The recruitment is being carried out under the RGM funded project titled “Implementation of IVF Technology under RGM at CVSc, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati & Establishment of Professional Training Institute at LCVSc, AAU, Lakhimpur”. The engagement is purely temporary in nature.

Educational Qualification:
1. Skilled Worker
Essential Qualification:
(a) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Government University
(b) Experience in dairy farm management activities
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates trained in scientific dairy farm management or handling automated milking systems
2. Semi-Skilled Worker
Essential Qualification:
(a) Education up to Class X
(b) Experience in dairy farm management activities
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates trained in operating milk parlour systems
Remuneration:
Skilled Worker: ₹16,140.00 per month
Semi-Skilled Worker: ₹13,380.00 per month
Terms and Conditions:
1. The posts are purely temporary and may be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason.
2. Engagement will not confer any right for permanent absorption in the University.
3. The place of posting will be at the RGM funded project site, Khanapara.
4. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
5. Age limit will be as per the norms of the Government of Assam.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the walk-in interview.
7. The Selection Committee reserves the right to modify, cancel, or postpone the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
