Samagra Shiksha Axom has released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement to the post of Quality Expert (Quality & Pedagogy) on a purely contractual basis. The engagement will be initially for a period of 11 months, which may be extended based on performance and requirement.
The recruitment is being conducted at the State Mission Office, Samagra Shiksha Axom, Guwahati.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:(i) A Postgraduate degree in Child Development / Early Childhood Care and Education / Psychology / Education / Social Sciences / Development Studies from a recognized university.
(ii) B.Ed. from any recognized university is mandatory.
(iii) Degree or Diploma in Pre-Primary Education from a recognized university or reputed national-level organization will be considered preferable.
Experience Requirement:
(i) Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in development or social sector projects.(ii) Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work in mission-mode initiatives.
(iii) Prior experience in mission-mode Early Childhood Care or Education projects will be treated as an added advantage.
(iv) Proven expertise in MS Office is mandatory.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 yearsMaximum Age: 62 years
Age will be calculated as on 01-01-2025.
Age proof must be supported by HSLC/Matriculation Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized board.
Pay Scale:
Pay Band: ₹30,000/- to ₹1,10,000/- per monthGrade Pay: ₹13,300/-
Nature of Engagement:
(i) The post is temporary and contractual in nature.(ii) Engagement is initially for 11 months only.
(iii) The contractual engagement will not be regularized, and selected candidates will not have any claim for permanent appointment under Samagra Shiksha Axom or Government of Assam.
Selection Procedure:
(i) Selection will be done through Test / Interview.(ii) Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview.
(iii) The exact date and time of the test/interview will be communicated separately.
Evaluation will be based on:
(i) General Awareness(ii) Personality & Aptitude
(iii) Subject Knowledge
(iv) Relevant Experience
Candidates must secure minimum 50% marks in the interview to be considered for selection.
