Vacancy Details:
1. ANM/GNM Nurse (Contractual)
No. of Posts: 01
Salary: Pay negotiable based on experience and qualification (As per University norms)
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess either:
(i) GNM/B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution and be registered with the Assam Nurses' Midwives' and Health Visitors' Council, OR
(ii) ANM qualification from a recognized institution with registration under the Assam Nurses' Midwives' and Health Visitors' Council.
Age Limit: 25 to 55 years
Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a Government/Private Hospital, Educational Institution, University Health Centre, Clinic, or other recognized healthcare facility.
Desirable Qualifications:
(i) Experience in providing healthcare services to students.
(ii) Ability to handle medical emergencies, first aid, and minor ailments independently.
(iii) Experience in health awareness programmes and vaccination drives.
(iv) Knowledge of patient record maintenance and basic computer applications.
(v) Good communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
2. Hostel Warden (Boys' & Girls' Hostels) (Contractual)

Girls' Warden – 01
Boys' Warden – 01
Salary: Pay negotiable based on experience and qualification (As per University norms)
Essential Qualification: Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
Experience: Experience in hostel administration, student welfare, counselling, discipline management, or related fields is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
(i) Supervise hostel residents and ensure safety and discipline.
(ii) Maintain cleanliness and hostel facilities.
(iii) Coordinate with University authorities regarding hostel matters.
(iv) Assist students and address welfare-related issues.
(v) Maintain hostel records and administrative work.
General Terms & Conditions:
(i) The appointment is purely contractual.
(ii) Selected candidates will have no claim for permanent appointment.
(iii) The University reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
(iv) Government/PSU employees should apply through the proper channel, wherever applicable.
