The Foreigners Tribunal 8th, Goalpara has released an advertisement for the recruitment of Copyist on a purely contractual basis. Eligible candidates who are interested in the post can attend the Walk-in Interview scheduled for September 10, 2026.
The recruitment is being conducted in pursuance of directions and orders mentioned in the official advertisement, and the selected candidate will be posted at the Office of the Foreigners Tribunal 8th, Goalpara.

Minimum Qualification:
(i) Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized Board/Council.
(ii) Candidates must also possess a 6-month Diploma Course in Computer Application/IT from a registered institution having good knowledge of software applications and proficiency in English and Assamese typing.
Age Limit: Candidates must be not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 01 January 2026.
Other Eligibility Conditions:
Candidates applying for the post must fulfill the following conditions:
(i) The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
(ii) Candidates must have good command over the English and Assamese languages and good handwriting.
(iii) In case of equal scores, preference will be given to candidates who share the home district/local address with the concerned Foreigners Tribunal.
(iv) The candidate's name must be registered with the Government Employment Exchange.
(v) Candidates already working in any organization or office must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present organization/office at the time of interview.
(vi) Candidates must produce all relevant and legally valid testimonials in original at the time of the interview.
(vii) Applications must be submitted in the Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette Part-IX).
(viii) Candidates are required to bring two sets of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
(ix) Family income declaration is not required.

1. Application in the Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette Part-IX).
2. HS or equivalent pass certificate and marksheet.
3. Certificate of Diploma in Computer Application.
4. Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
5. HSLC Certificate or Admit Card/Birth Certificate as proof of age.
6. Caste Certificate, if applicable for age relaxation.
7. No Objection Certificate (NOC), if applicable.

Venue: Conference Hall of Goalpara Municipality Board, Goalpara, Kacharighat, Goalpara.
Reporting Time: Candidates are required to report between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM on the date of the interview.
Candidates arriving at the venue after 12:30 PM will not be considered.
